Many people think that surrogacy is a difficult process but it is very easy process to know and start with the reputated surrogacy agency. The process of carrying and delivering a child for another couple is known as Surrogacy. A woman who carries the baby is known as Surrogate Mother. The surrogate mother may be genetically related or unrelated to the child. A woman gets paid to Become a Surrogate for renting the womb. The persons or couple who receive the child after the process are known as Intended parent. Because of the female infertility , medical problems or delivery issues women may not conceive a pregnancy all the time. Then the sperm or eggs are get collected from parents sometimes they can be gathered from donors. After all the procedure getting done with prerequisites the sperm or eggs get injected into a surrogate mother's uterus.
Different types of surrogacy processes:
- Traditional Surrogacy: In traditional surrogacy the intended mother acts as surrogate mother and she is inseminated with the sperm of the intended father or the sperm donor. In this process the surrogate's own eggs will be used thus she will be the genetic mother the child however she has a relationship with the child in this process.
- Gestational Surrogacy: In this process the intended mother does not have a genetic relationship with the child. The Eggs are collected from the intended mother or from egg donor and the sperm is collected from intended father or sperm donor .The embryos then injected into the surrogate mother's uterus.
- Commercial Surrogacy: This kind of surrogacy is similar to one of the above surrogacy type but the only difference is that it involves money to rent the womb. In this kind of surrogacy usually surrogates are hired by agencies by looking into the many factors which involves in the success rate of surrogacy.
- Altruistic Surrogacy: This kind of surrogacy is similar to one of the above surrogacy type but the only difference is that it has no involvement of money to rent the womb. In this kind of surrogacy usually surrogate would be from their family or close friends.
